dude...u have the 3.0 stroker rite? if so, u should be putting down close to 180hp to the wheels. 140hp seems low for a stroker motor...But prob. rite for a stock 325.
you have lots to learn man...!!!! looks like its most tok kok here again, when a fellow forummer needs tech info at critical time, and as usual last minute too, not many can give some good feedback, those who have experiences don't even bother to say anything..... my views 1. rev cut is electronically controlled, only programmed by chip-as per Fabs 1.2. titanium retainers dont make ur rev higher, it makes revs go higher and faster, but its a whole system where individual weights of the drivetrain matters 1.3 you need firmer valve springs, this will prevent valve float if you wanna go at a higher rev limit, this will also depend on your profile of your camshaft, lift , lobe degrees cross-overs will then determine which rev cut you shud have and fuelling requirements, but figures will have to be obtained via a dyno graph then tune from there 2. 14.7:1 is stoich , 12:1 richer used at lower rev - as per bundy but recommend you put in an air fuel meter to monitor output, then tune from the measurements 2.1 you can follow any ratio you want, too lean you blow your engine, too rich you spend money on petrol, either you still spend more money, follow what bmw engineers set, you will be fine 3. you don't have a catalytic converter, so no problems there, but if you have an O2 sensor, try to keep emissions within tolerenace level of the sensors 4.........hurry up!! ..... :getyourfactsright: , dont waste my time........ advance and retard of ignition will have to be determined by your engine response, and how the unichip is setup, it will probably be tuned when the system is installed, leave it to the pros to do it
ah..!!!!! Teejay has spoken...Thanks man..!!! That'a what I call experience..!!! B) Thanks to Franklin...yes.you're always here when I needed you. but my car is still with 2.5 strokers. Albundy..???? I'll always appreciate the help you've given to me. Thanks to all again. but I dicided to go all out this time.!!! muahahaaaa..!!! :yahoo: cos I got anuder spare short block to play with.... :aggressive:
 after all the hassle of port and polishing my cylinder head...I noticed that I didn't blow my previous engine. My mech...fu*k me that it's useless for me to rush him to do up my previous engine.So...now I'm gonna change all the internal wear and tear parts... B) what I'm I gonna do with my existing engine..??? hehe...find a set forged pistons/stroker kits. So..Alvin.I won't be able to run in the engine for the Aprill Track day. After all the engine is done up...I'll have to run in...*again* :beaten: and make anuder appointment. seems like I won't be able to go down the state down south to do the MAF conversion yet. come on guys...more..!! more..!!! more of those performance racuning.!!!
There is another 2.5 block lying in the workshop ma...from the guy who just did the ETA conversion hahaha..just buy the stroker kit!!! That means now you have two 2.5 blocks muahahaha :nyehehe: :nyehehe: :nyehehe:
you got 2 engine to play with, if you blow one you got 2, if you blow another one still got one more spare......if you still blow this one, you got 2 cut shops to shop anyway..... common!!!.....( che-bai lang!!!!.....scared ahh...!!!!!) good move to re-do internals, as new parts may wear off older parts faster and cause more harm.....
haha....Zog...better not turn down Alvin's challenge....go show him what your M20 is made off....hehe If tak cukup...then u go get the S50 and stuff it in....hehe But more track time is ideal....and u can easily reach the limits of the 2.5 engine....then its time to upgrade.
I know...ofter I'm done with the M20b25 engine...my next level will certainly be the MMMMMM ah!!! engine. h34r:
