Anyone here using such in car video camera to record your daily journey or trips?I'm itchy backside bought a cheapo RM80 video recorder but the video quality is way below expectation. Anyway, don't expect that much from a RM80 gadget. Any recommendation for a good quality video recorder? I found this one, a singaporean version of our lelong.my http://list.qoo10.sg/item/BEST-SELLER-SUPER-MINI-FHD1080P/406851361The sample picture and videos seem ok. Wonder if there are similar ones in Malaysia.
This is one clip from my cheapo in-car recorder.... can't see number plates... hopeless...
If you're keen to consider higher-end one, I do have a contact who does a 4-channel video recorder, with motion sensors so it will even record when you not around. Which is good if you often park in crowded car parks where people hit your car and just leave, or are afraid of vandals. But yeah, it isn't a very cheap kit. I think (not confirmed) is about $400.
Am eyeing on this one from DOD... http://www.dod-tec.com/dm.php?prod=tg300.jpg
Bought this: http://www.dod-tec.com/dm.php?prod=tg300.jpg Tried it this morning... video captured at 1920x1080... very clear and sharp. can see number plates of cars on the next lanes. But not as clear when uploaded to youtube...
Here's the screenshot of the DODPlayer which can display ur location using googlemaps and also the GPS speed as logged by the camera. Maybe too much information... No traffic cops here me think...
There's an official distributor in Spore selling this for ~SGD300.... But mine bought thru a contact in China... below RM500 landed... Like I mentioned, I used the cheapo camera before which could not even see the number plate clearly, pointless in the event of an accident. Even worse at night. So I was looking around for better camera, reviewing actual sample videos before coming to this. Don't be fooled by the spec on paper, u can have 5 different cameras which claim to record in HD 1080i but not all 5 can give u sharp images. The important thing is the lens quality and the lens angle, and for that have to see the sample videos, daytime and night time. Those that don't provide sample videos, u can forget about them.
wei too much infolah if accident want to show proof also cannot ...at 196kmh you not wrong also end up wrong...heheheh
Its getting popular these days. This is just one of them i found on the web. Local distributor. Maybe can check it out? Less than RM300. http://m3shoppe.my/home/hometoDetail.ehtml?model.goodId=1496
