QD250, my not so expert advise is to reduce a bit on your km service intervals say 8000km instead if 12000km.. This may help prolong your engine life.. This way u can always check your car condition more frequent to ensure unnecessary expenses later on..

Hi bro QD250, from your maintenance list, it seems like you are almost servicing your car every month. May I know is it your car really have so many problem or you are really heavily utilizing it?

Some people drop a huge bag of money in early possesion of the car, some people do it bit by bit, depends on which you like/can afford. But yes, almost certainly every month need something to be done most of the time.

 

The valve tonic motor is brand new or used?

 

Brand new valvetronic motor by VDO (German company owned by Siemens)

 

now the car all ok? no more EML?

 

Just to share. Bavarian Auto is now selling Meyle product..I was told by the sales on last Saturday

thanks for the advice. I use full synthetic since day one and my car is a daily taxi that is pushed to the red on daily basis. she gets my full TLC and we have been going to the same mechanic. In fact, sometimes we just go lepak at the mechanic... hehehe.... so she does get a frequent looking over by the mechanic. No expenses spared for her la... anyways, i always keep her on her toes so that whenever i want to push her.... no issues.... if you know what i mean....

 

too close? my maintenance schedule is every 12000km or 4 months, whichever comes first. The in between are for wear and tear for a 12 year old car that still does 170kmh regularly...

 

couldn't agree more... the list is my continuous TLC since 2007 for my ride that has given me endless joy of driving....

hahaha..... next would be 4 new shoes for Raya in the form of PS3....
