Thanks bro..... Doing a lot of research and surveying my time slowly as days pass by. Learning more and more things as I investigate about 46.....
Bro Siva, the heart wants what the heart wants, go get your UDM, there is no guarantees in life, enjoy it while you can. As you said , you have a loan facility that can cater for your purchase , do get 5-10k extra, use it for repairs, if have extra after that use it for mods... Good luck. Come MMZ tt...a lot of E46 samples for you to look at...
Oh my oh my. I didn't even think of taking higher loan for that purpose. Thanks for opening my eyes!(sounds a bit wrong nah??) haha. I spoke to my mom about it and she is okay with it. Haha. She is hoping that by next year she can buy a brand new F30 haha. Racun my mom as well. But I think I may do like what you say bro. But if maybe I get an extra 5k, I can keep it for future expenses(engine maintenance) on the car. Not necessarily must be damages on the spot ya? My eyes is always on the Klang SHah alam meet up bro. Wanna see what time they meeting up... Badminton night for me. Thats why waiting for annoucement! Haha. You'll be going as well bro?
Yup bro, god willing i'll be there this Fri nite, wait for KSA chairman's announcement...shud be 10pm onwards.
10pm kah???? :'( adui...... I have to adjust myself then..... Anyways ANYONE WILLING TO TUMPANG ME A RIDE TO TTS???? belanja teh tarik. hahaha
Come and join the TT and satay and Teh Tarik with your saga lah - you have the same amount of fun. You can arrange a special loan but your friend will not be paying the loan on your behalf right ? Don't rush and force things and regret later - I am only saying this out of concern for you - I believe you will drive an UDM one day but the timing must be right bro
the loan is memang under my name la bro. haha of course i will be paying it. not taking the loan under anyone else's name. yeah i get what you mean bro. that's why while i still learning a lot of things about this car, i am counter checking with the one i am taking. cause like what you said bro. don't want to regret without really looking at the engine. the exterior actually with just the rims changed and also headlamps changed looks sporty bro. i really wanna make sure engine is in good condition before doing any other modifications like ICE, interior & exterior. Okay la.... I'll come TT. Park far far. Haha. Maybe might follow someone there. Cause I know U8 but not sure exactly where is mmz. All this while i thought bukit jelutong is bukit beruntung. haha. llol silly me
M43 is a mechanical engine - IE it is much simpler with less electronic sensors compared to the N42. The N42 features valvetronic and vanos, which is SUPPOSED to be better but from my experience owning both engines. THe M43 is much easier to maintain as it is LESS costly to get parts. The valvetronic often gives problems, and the N42 engine often suffer leaks. But like the others, if u want to drive a BMW - get a 6pot engine. =D
Time : 10.00pm onwardsVenue : MMZ Bkt Jelutong GPS : 3.109995110807335,101.54314398765564 No need to park far far away lah
im using m43b19 for 5 years already, normally is wear and tear stuff...casket, rubber hoses, and expansion tank...current millage 360k on odo....go figure...
Just read the whole thread & if Siva93 still read this , please update on your UDM experience. Thanks
Hello everyone..newbies here..just drop by to gain some info regarding Febi Bilstein engine oil 5W40. Anyone here experience good or bad performance with this engine oil? Hope u guys happy with your UDM..hope to hear from u guys soon..good day guys. Tq
Rahmat from Indonesia. I plan to buy my friend BMW E46, year 2002. Car has no engine, gearbox and DME/ECU. Original engine is N42 but M54 is fine if available. Where to buy those parts or halfcut in Malaysia? Preferably in Johor since I am in Batam. Thanks for helping.
Halfcut must be dismantled and packed in wooden pallet. Everything is shipped except chassis (body). Actually use parts can not be imported. But you know........ it is Indonesia This thing has been done for years, especially in Batam.
