I think, this is what kl_mafia try to brief you Mouse....

According to leaflet which i get from one of the Shell station, below are the fuel saving techniqued which Mr&Mrs taylor did to get more mileage:

1. Avoid high speeds and power acceleration

2. Change early to higher gear

3. Engine is regularly checked and service

4. Check your tyre pressure regularly

5. Avoid carrying excess weight

6. Keep the windows close when driving at high speed

7. Chech and replace your engine air filter regularly

8. Ensure that u use hight quality engine oils, and of course they reckon Shell Helix

9. Swith off the engine if the car is at a standstill for some time.

By doing this, of course u can use other petrol, but according to them, Shell fuel will save more for a better milaeage....not for speed!

Agree Mr Powerblow....I dont think its apply to our beemer...because most of the beemers...fuel price does not matter..slot the credit cards.....make it full tanks...and zoom u go.....err...betul ka?

Betul, hehehehe... ! The engine sounds best past 5,000 rpm ain't it...

haha this is for sure,sometimes only i rev it to 5,000 rpm coz i know if i do it often even shell comes up with hundred of new petrol also cant save my petrol money lol
