Dear IAD Working committee and Chairman 5351,Appreciated if you could provide more information about the Annual Dinner.During the Klang TT, some of the questions have cropped up.1. What to expect from the dinner? eg game, lucky draw, boring speech i.e. agenda2. Location of the Venue and map to get there.3. Parking arrangement.4. What type of food is served? Menu 5. Can get refund or transfer the ticket if they cannot attend the dinner at the last minute due to unforseable circumstances.I know the committee are busy collecting the money from the members but some tentative schedule, ideas or highlight would be appreciated.
Yes, & perhaps a flyer like the one that was done by Dimples & Mctnesh for the PD BBQ would enhance der announcement too ...jes my 2 cents.
that's why most of the jb guys not going to iad. we think it's just a dinner n after that, that's it. no activities at all. waste money lah... haiyo, byk kena bayar from jb. petrol, tol lagi......... please tell us what are the activities during iad. thankx....
eddie, I think there would be enough event to keep us interested. Hopefully, I hope 535i would give us some idea. Most of the events are only tentatively and just about to be finalised. I can assured you that it would be fun... fun.. fun.. :yahoo: :yahoo:

Speech ? Limited to 5 minutes for each speech (3 only) 2. Location of the Venue and map to get there. It's at Pan Pac Glemarie. I am quite sure ppl from Klang knows where it is. But, we will distribute a map in due course 3. Parking arrangement. Done - reserved parking. 4. What type of food is served? Menu Sit down chinese course dinner. Menu will be posted once we finalised it 5. Can get refund or transfer the ticket if they cannot attend the dinner at the last minute due to unforseable circumstances. I wish I can, but whatever being paid will be channel to the hotel for payment. The hotel require certain 'confirmed seats'. U can try selling it off to other members. I know the committee are busy collecting the money from the members but some tentative schedule, ideas or highlight would be appreciated.
Eddie .. We do understand ur predicament. The expenses for the outstation ppl to attend to this dinner will be quite substancial. Toll, fuel, hotel, dinner cost etc etc. The detail agenda will be posted very soon; once we confirmed and sorted out all the issued we have in hand. We wud love to have ppl from Southern chapter to come up and join us in this 1st BMW Club Annual Dinner. But at the end of the day. the choice is yours. If you think it's a waste of money and time, what can I say ...
5351, thanks you for your reply. BTW, one of the guys in Klang really do not the place. He is known to get lost even in Klang... ha..ha.. Actually the map is for the benefit of the outstation people. The map should show direction to get there from the north and also from the south. Another detail map should shows on how to get there. I think a hp number to be available in case some of the guys get lost around the area. btw, when is the next meeting..

I would love to have dinners at other states. The nothern and southern chapters can take up the task of organising the next annual dinner in their states, just bring it up to the committee when the time for annual dinner comes around next year. It will be fun to drive north/south next year, so guys, stand up to the plate and help us have a great time next year, yah?? In the meantime, the participation list keeps growing, a great shout-out and thank you those who will be joining our inaugural dinner next month. Yup... its just a month away..... and let the moolah roll in before 17th July 2005 to enjoy the RM90.00 seats.
