Bishop Would you like to share the stories that you have heard about the Z4? I've been driving the car for 3 years now. So far, besides being a head turner, it has not been anything but excitement and thrills. There are some selected ones that come with hard tops. If I’m not mistaken the lots of 3.0si. I’ve also noticed that, apart from your qualms of having soft tops, you are not looking for anything too powerful. And, I agree with turbology that 1.8T would suffice. My friend, I think you knew all along what you actually wanted. Just need that extra “push factor”, huh? The Audi TT is what I believe to be a perfect car for ladies. No offense :) It's beautiful, and any garage would be lucky to have one...but it lacks the performance to really get me excited. It's snail paced. Considering its price. Even the 220hp Quattro is just a little below par. In short, I'd love to own one but don't want to claim it as my own...call it the raz451 ego thing. The Z4 has a nice torquey engine, but it just doesn't come alive with revs the way I like. But it is certainly fun to drive. It tied in performance and appeal for the money. Just my personal views. Cheers
