But shouldn't the year of manufacture be the date when the car left the factory?? In my case, the car took about 10 months to reach its destination or the car was kept in the plant for 10 months before leaving the factory (from 7/1999 to 5/2000).The question is I might have paid for a 5 year old car but in actual fact it is 6 year old. Based on the computer data, the car is definitely 6 year old when I purchased it. Not 5 year old as advertized by the dealer.If that is the case, I have to go after the dealer for compensation.</blockquote>
