You can check for signs of wear and tear at the absorber mount itself when you opened up the bonnet. Sometimes you can see the rubber cracked. I know the mounting was gone cause after I changed my control arm bush, the car still tramlines (albeit a bit) upon braking.For the absorber link rod (Lemforder), I was charged RM250 per pair inclusive of labour. I knew the RH side link rod was giving way cause whenever I go through bumps, there would be a slight thud sound coming from the RH side of the undercarriage.</blockquote>
