Recently I attended the Car Clinic with BMW Club at Sapura Auto, here the answers. 1. 25K KM or 12 months service interval as they are using longlife engine oil. So if you are using normal oil, please change it accordingly. 2. Why the car is tilted? BMW is all about balance and it was designed in Germany and to have the left side lighter then then right so when the only driver is in the car (70-80% of the time) the car will have the perfect balance. I like how this thread have moved.. It is hard to say which workshop is good or bad as human are inconsistance. If the mood is good they are perfect but at the wrong time.. even the best will make mistake. I do really hope for those workshop who POTONG us for our hard earn money be listed here. Check out the maintainance thread and PM the owner for advice if you like the price they listed down. I have questions for the workshop; Why BMW have the kickdown button even the gearbox will kick down when you accer harder? At the auto gearshifter S(Sport) E(Economy) N(Nutral) M(????) Manual? ahhaahaa definately not manual. It is "mud" as the gearbox will limit the power to wheel to avoid slip on over spin. 3. In Malaysia at our normal temp, will the engine oil be at 5 or 10w? Or it is just stay at the max 40w and 50w according to the oil spec? So why should we use 5-40w engine oil? Shouldnt a good 20-50w of Semi Syn is good enough? Have a good day
