Hey guys, any idea how to correct the spray for the windscreen washer ? Mine is like spraying out of place. Thanks

Use a needle and cucuk into the nozzle outlet as a guide and move it to aim at whichever direction u wish. That's the JDM method though, should not differ a lot in the UDM.

Last time I had this problem with my E36, so what I did was use a small pin (clothes pin, safety pin), insert the tip of the pin into the washer nozzle, and then use the pin to re-aim the spray. Then test the spray direction. Repeat re-aiming if necessary until done.

Hah... Astroboy.. you and I think alike.. reply oso at the same time.

Thanks guys for the input. I've tried so far and it doesn't seem to solve the problem. Could there be dirt or something preventing it from spraying at the right angle/direction? Then again, I tink the pressure is getting weaker also...

Maybe you got some gunk stuck in the nozzle?

Did you move the nozzle using the needle or pin, or did you just try to clear the hole.

The nozzle can be rotated within its housing. I am sure if you move the nozzle, you can reaim the spray. The pin is not only to clear teh nozzle hole but is used as a lever to move the nozzle in the right direction.

I did move the nozzle..but I did not rotate the nozzle. Will give it a try soon..thanks guys!

Unplug the water hose from the nozzle to check the pressure without using the nozzle, just to confirm urpump is working properly.

Maybe you got something stuck either in the hole or the hose. Unplug it and spray.

If the hole is stuck, use a stronger pin and cucuk harder.

No wonder lah.

Dont use a sewing needle cos it will break.

Use a safety pin cos it is less likely to break.

Sometimes it takes a little bit more force to swivel the nozzle head in the housing since it has never bneen touched.

change the nozzle bro!!
I did all that was needed to do...tot initially the pump was spoilt too... quite weak!
then I decide to have it changed once and for all

NO ITS LIKE A BRAND NEW CAR! even with the old pump from the reservoir!
