I dont agree that all mercedes benz's models have cheaper maintenence. What about the Classic Merc's the parts sometimes hard to find, when they are rare they are expensive. from personal experience before i started driving my 635CSI, i was driving W107 83 500SL, and the W... 85 380SEL, these cars are not cheap to maintain. yes the older mercs have less electronics and not too much hassle with that. but mechanically i was paying about roughly the same for my 6 and these mercs. The thing with Bmws there is a thin line between Love and Hate! You hate it because it gives u problems. You love it because its a real drivers car and you can have fun with these cars. The New Honda accords are nice, but to me its a waste of time. I just did project with my bosses company where we had to evaluate sales and services teams from Honda on the all new accord, and we had to compare to the new 2.0, 2.4 Camry. and the current 2.4 accord. And let me ask u would like to have a car that u can control or a car that controls u?? In these cars i felt lifeless, bored, felt cheap. i'd rather get beat up old bmw then a jap car any day. At the end of the day I will stick to my Bmw, i'll love it one day and hate it the next. Anyway Between Japanese and European cars its a whole different league. Just my opinion!
