I would love a bike to run around but it always rains in KL ... that is why I did not get a bike. A bike is most practical in KL for running around. I ended up with a CRZ for my daily drive. As for the AP issue ... sorry la ... PR takes over they need to recover the RM9B income in taxes and duties that may be lost with the removal of taxes and duties. They say can lelong off APs. If they lelong off the APs it will come back to about the same la. No difference. Why? Because Malaysians are bloody greedy and dealers will still reduce a slight bit only. Just like tweiboon says look at the cost of conti car spares. Its all BS la ... come on. We are funding their nice nice showrooms. I was told by a car dealer who knows about spares. He says the spares for like say BMW is not that expensive compared to the price we pay for at the retail end la. If it were that high how do they use BMWs in Germany for taxis. Taxis drivers are high mileage users and they will be price sensitive. I am not saying its dirt cheap but we are getting ripped off by the manufacturers. Then as smike says ... lousy roads = higher wear and tear. Bloody Gov can't even build decent roads. At the end of the day, the Rakyat is screwed over. It never changes.
