Sometime I pity the workshop too.. a nice young lady pull up with her more than 5 years old E46 318i.. who know nuts about car maintenance, does not even keep track of service history.. these N42 engines are valvetronic equipped, pumping at 143hp and along with all the other bells and whistles that keep the engine "intelligent", yet she ask the foreman to ensure nothing will fail when she's on the highway.. how?! Have to do preventive maintenance recommendation loh.. coolant tank, thermostat, ignition coil and a long list of other things.... how to explain to her? Difficult right?! And there she goes complaining the workshop cut throat la, BMW expensive to maintain la.. these are sensitive cars and they are suppose to be sensitive with minimal fault tolerance... u think like JDM meh, no water also can drive.. until engine seize.. :4: when u complain the JDM being stupid, they will tell you that's why you are given a temperature gauge, who's fault? :4:
