[QUOTE="maxxsp, post: 294537, member: 4808"] krishnamaniam, have a think about this. in the thread starter's first post he tries to bait others to respond. he joins a forum just to say that certain products are useless? this is known as trolling. he did not follow the forum rules on introduction. when his thread gets locked he blames official members and implies that his thread was locked because the forum is sponsored by that particular manufacturer. his claims show he has little or no experience in detailing. if you want to start a discussion or in this case put down other products, get the facts right first! in his third post he continues to show that he has no knowledge in detailing and insults a moderator and ontop of that STILL implies that the thread was locked to protect a forum sponsor. he claims that his car is in better condition without a wax so why not post up some pics to prove it? then others can decide for themselves. i am not trying to instigate any other members to laugh at him but i do know from experience that what he is saying is ludicrous. i clearly posted the facts and he ignored it each time. by the time i made that post i was more than a little ticked off by his refusal to face the facts so it may have sounded a little rude and for that i'm sorry. i made the post with good intentions. my dad's e39 which was owned from new was only polished every 2 years and never waxed. it was washed carefully every week though. 7 years later it needed a full respray. do you think his posts should be left unanswered? what if other members take his advice and then have to face the consequences at the end? i know i shouldnt feed the trolls but i felt it was necessary to post the facts and let others decide on what they want to believe. Cheers PS: i have spent many many manhours working on my car and over RM6000 on detailing products & supplies, so for someone to say that detailing is rubbish makes me more than a little angry.
