I think that's because he bought a wax product that says its a polish, many such thing in the market which is confusing. So Soft99 is it a Wax or Polish? Because the label says Polish.. and many owner say I polish my car often with wax .. So "Polish", is it an "verb" or "noun"? Must first forget what you see in the market and research on what is WAX and what is POLISH and meant to be. Wax is something to apply on to make it shine and protect the paint. Yes, it doesn't last long. Polish is abrasive in nature as its suppose to wear the lacquer layer of your paint to remove micro scratched and micro unevenness on the chassis. After that, then only apply wax. Now go back to the shelf and see, you will notice many products' description are very misleading, especially the cheapo ones like Polygaze.. want to know about polymer base product? That's even more mind boggling.. and yes.. I am using it.. :p That's because I'm not as "detail" as the detailer may want to call it. That doesn't mean the detailers are talking crap! U may put your definition in whatever it is u r refering too as it's your own opinion and findings. "The rest is mainly gimmick. Especialy all the detaillers. All nonsense. Only imaginary xtra shine can be obtain from expensive products :stupid:" The above statement hurts! Please be more sensitive in your posting and this is only your first posting.. u r really asking for it.. Many hardcore auto detailers here and u certainly don't want to piss them off.. Tell your spouse or mother don't waste time & money on cosmetic product because it doesn't change the fact that they are born to look that way and the cosmetic product wash off anyway when they take bath.. see what happen.. :D
