If its just the rings - white would look nice. However, if it means the main lights have to be white as well, then you may have a problem if it rains. White lights are really bad when it rains - you can hardly see in front of your car.

If I were you, I would stick with the yellows for both so that they match and you can see at night if it rains.

nasib baik belum upgrade to white light!!

Can't afford to sacrifice visibility while driving in the rain.. we r after all in malaysia..

ichiwan2 is correct, from my personal experience white lights are poor during rain. Stick to the yellow ones unless it's the real HID/Xenon type

Not quite... You have to turn on the high beam in the rain - this will blind on-coming traffic, thereby creating the right environment for an accident to happen.

Or if you turn off the high beam when u see traffic coming (which I would presume you would do!), then you lose sight of the road in front of you.....

I would suggest the the white light be on the high beam rather than the low beam for the reasons mentioned above.

If you are using manufacture prefix Xenon or HID then that one will be safe. For HID dont exceed 6k then you will be safe.

It depends. Do you reduce your speed significantly when driving in wet/rainy conditions?

The fog light illumination pattern is more towards an intense but short throw pattern. It will be very bright directly in front of the car for up to 30 feet or so (rough estimate). Regular driving lights tend to cover a longer throw pattern, but less intense.

So, IMO, it is only good if you drive at speeds below 80km/h. If you are driving on the highway - could be fatal!

Not trying to discourage from putting in white lights, but it is best that you know what you are getting yourself into. The white lights can be very good in dry weather conditions, so long as u have some back up, like auxilliary drivin lights. I have white lights on my citroen but I also have driving lights, i.e. Hella FF50,

which are very bright and can basically replace my headlights, especially when it rains. Without these, I would not be able to see more than 10-15 feet in front if it rains.

The headlights are there to help you drive safely in the dark. Your decision on whether or not u use white lamps, which perform well in dry conditions but sucks (at least for me, they do) when it rains.

Just try to remember, you are not the only one on the road. What you do to your car can affect others. Safety is paramount. Do not do things that results in your losing control of the car or some one else losing control of theirs.

yes...we must always think of other road user..be more courtesy..if we use white light get approval from jpj first and make sure it is not obstruct other road user vision..be more considerate..and malaysia will be a nice place to live..
