bro, i believe an ecu remap won't have much side effects to your engine..all engines are over-designed and over-built with certain safe working factors..remaps and some other minor mods will gain power that are well within the tolerance and capability of the engine and other related components..the only thing that may shorten the life of your engine is putting in a supercharger/turbocharger..tu pun kalau overboost beyond the recommended pressure.. for me, it is recommended to do other performance mods first, last skali baru remap..coz the remap will then take into account all your other mods and optimize them to get the best end result...normally the contributing mods are those air intake and exhaust related ones..btw, just a quick check in your quest for more power: cold air intake/filter dah upgrade? lightweight pulleys? okada plasma coils? intake manifold? exhaust extractor? sprint booster (for more accelerator response)? good luck bro :top:
