But when the oil started to get laden with carbon soot and what not, it will become thicker and darker in color and higher tendency to have sediment in the oil passage way and all the kinks in the engine.. That's the 'seed' for sludge, especially for cars driven predominantly in the city start stop traffic. It's advisable to drive it spiritedly on weekend to get the oil pumping to prevent the sediment being deposited inside the engine.</blockquote>
