If you work in that company, which entitles for fleet discount, then you need a letter from HR to prove that you are working in that company and your name has to be in that letter. BMW malaysia will not approve letter from your supervisor, or even your company CEO. Has to be only HR, and your name on it. Usually all the company HR is quite kiasi, they will tell you that they can only certify the employee, not the friend, relative, nor the husband. They dont want to bare the responsible if anything goes wrong (it can be some sort of guarantee letter for some cases).2. If your wife is working in the the company, which entitles for fleet discount, then the letter with your wife's name is sufficient. You need to show the letter from your wife HR, and your marriage cert to prove she is your wife.3. If you are insurance agent, then you need to get a letter from the company HR to prove you are the agent. My insurance agent friend told me that it is subject to the level in the insurance company. For ING, it has to be manager and above in order for the company to give you that letter. Below is the reply i got from BMW malaysia.As spoken, we are always pleased to offer you the fleet discount. However, we require confirmation letter of employment issued by HR due to audit issue.As long as there is HR letter,  we have no issue to offer the fleet discount.Thank you.
