Shadowline trim aka glossy black window trim is only found on the M-Sport version if it's matte black or chrome then it is not an M-Sport. The side mirror base is also glossy for M-Sport car. Plus you can see the interior whether it comes with black cube trim or brush aluminium. Check out also the front seat also as the M-Sport version comes with M-Tech seats which is semi-bucket seat.But the best way to determine whether the car is M-Sport or not, take down the car's VIN number and ask BMW dealership to pull the car original specs from factory from it's database.
