I think the durability of the battery will also depend if its located in the engine compartment, under the seat or at the back in the boot. Earlier UDM had their battery in the engine bay and with all that heat generated from the engine, battery life span is shorten by quite a bit. Typically batteries located in the engine compartment will last maybe 1.5 - 2 yrs esp if you are doing a lot of stand still driving (i.e traffic jams) when the engine bay is the hottest. In my opinion, if your batt is in your engine bay just get one of those normal batt will do, no need to spend so much on those exp maintenance free batts. Batteries located under the seat or at the boot will last at least double the life span of those located in the engine bay so typically 4 - 5 years provided they are kept up to a good charge by long drives, etc. Go for a good quality maintenance free batt for this locations and you should have trouble free operation for quite a number of years. Just my 2 kupangs....
