The heater coil is located below your AC cooling coil. Your HEater valve will only open when you switch your AC to heater and water from your radiator will flow into the heater. When your Heater Valve malfunctions it remains open. my guess is the water is leaking from the heater coil and goes out at the bottom of yor gear stick. Check it and see> I had that problem with my e39 M54. Water was diappearing when i changed my cooling coil I found out that my heater coil was leaking as there was harden coolant around the heater coil.</blockquote>
