Hi,I am currently using Eibach springs with Bilsteins on 18s. Could i be lower with other brands of springs that are also recognised for their quality? Any pros and cons?I think i read somewhere that the Eibachs go lowest in comparison to H&R and M-Tech. (i could be wrong)Anyone can suggest a brand for springs? * j On

I think ah... the eibach is the lowest spring you can find in Malaysia..if you wan lower then that..!!! cut the spring!!

How about APEX?....Have heard that it lowers more than eibach Prokits....dun take my word for it tho :)

nope...!!!! :p

eibach produces a few types

1. pro kit - lowered but street use
2. sportline - much lowered, aggresive street design
3. track- sorry dont know the term used- very low and hard, and you can scrap anything 1 inch above the ground

teejay is correct....check out their website for more info. I think u shud be able to get most of their bits here coz quiet well supported

Eibach n KONI is slightly lower than Eibach n Bilstein Sport.

U want low ??? Get TERRA spring with BOGE GAS ... But if u r using M40, watchout ur oil-sump !! Man-hole, curb n speed bumps can be ur greatest enemy ...

535....

I think I had Terra before (red colour spring ).....you are rite, they are very low when coupled to Boge Gas and I am a M20 -I survived but it was scrapping my mid section badly on speed humps! ( even on very slow 1st gear speed )

On a fellow forumer's ride, his M40 Eibach/Blistein cleared this hump daily without hassles.....hence my conclusion that there are springs lower than Eibach.

By chance, is Terra related to M-Teknik?

Just my feedback.....

Oh many thanks guys!

Will ask around for those Sportline Eibachs and see what i turn up with.

Why lower? Because it could be lower .....

and i think it will still be ok an inch lower......

I dont know of the other brands that was mentioned. Dont know these things well at all, what is that Boge Gas ? And TureX? Shucks...... reallly reaeeealllly no idea.....

Thanks in the mean time guys....... Have a great Monday!

GreenGhost,

Boge Gas is the absorbers brand/model here......happy hunting!

Yea found out a bit more .

Pro-Kit drops the car 20-30mm and the Proline kit 50 -60mm.

But the installer said i can order for you but no guarantees after wards on how it would ride.

Get the H&R Race springs or cup kits...they are very low....but malaysia road good or not....could be bumpy tho..

been noticing the ride recently, i dont think i can go any lower than the Eibachs/ Bilstein combo. These guys put speed bumps everywhere!
Especially everytime you go into the carpark entrance! And the slope is already so steep.

Was going into the Citibank carpark yesterday, now that is quite a killer already! i only just made it!

ANY spring there is the hardest in town ???
lower is not need or maybe 20mm is enough... thanksss

Got! Remove spring, weld in steel Round Hollow Section tubes.....or if you can make huge rubber block, also okie. LOL

Why-lah bro? What are you trying to achieve here? Please dun fly off the 1st corner you navigate when u go on this 'hard' spring path. The suspension movement aids in your roadholding....its a necessity for correct & predictable weight transfer.

Quick Question. (newbie)

Pros/cons for Hotbits STREET SPORTS SUSPENSIONS??

Their website:

Sporty street handling with comfort.
Performance set of 4 pieces adjustable height shock absorbers and 4 pieces 60mm linear race springs.
