Hi everyone, I have a 2016 532i UK model which has clocked 120k+ km. Couple of weeks ago it started to vibrate / shimmy at around 80km/h, which gets worse as it goes faster. 1) Sent for balancing, tyre man says rear tyres are uneven (out of round). 2) Changed all 4 tyres to Hankook v12 evo2 (245/40/R18). Checked rims (OEM, with spacer), all ok. 3) Vibration still there, seems to be from the rear. Swapped rear tyres/rims with original BMW rims to test... still vibrates at 80km/h. 4) Tyre man suggested to check centre bearing. 5) Changed Centre Bearing and guibo (coupling / universal joint). 6) Vibration still there, but now much better, not as intense and only starting at 100km/h. 7) Sent for balancing again, this time tyre man suspects it's the wheel bearing. 8) Tyre man recommends to send car in for full inspection (absorbers, arms, bearing). What do you guys think? Any advise on what to do next? Thanks.
