What is the frequency for tyre rotation? How should the tyre be rotate?

every 8-10k, X rotation pattern or H also can (depeding on your driving behaviour and the road condition that u frequently travel)

Sory a bit off topic, can anybody confirm front or rear tyre wear off faster on e46 ? my experience is the rear seem to wear much faster than the front.
So more frequent rotation is needed here, every 5000k

Mouse, pardon my ignorance, but what's the difference bte X and H rotation & how would driving styles & road conditions affect each type of rotation? :dunno: Would u share with us, please?

E46 is back wheels car , so rear tyre will worn out faster than front .

thanks yohji, so mine is normal done 30k the rear is worn to the mark....
I guest need to rotate more lah, to make full use of the four before changing.....

That's the idea ... to get even wear. Or else, waste the front tyres!

I think X is where u cross the tyres i.e. front right to rear left, and the other. H should be front right to rear right then... right? I suppose then the best arrangement would be to alternate X and H, right?
