Message: <blockquote data-quote="E46Fanatic" data-source="post: 343326" data-attributes="member: 81">Well, based on the install instructions, the new caliper wont clear the existing pre 08/07 330i rear brake sheilds which requires some cutting and workarounds.  In addition, the rear discs wont clear the existing 325i brake shields.  I ordered the 330i brake shields which is post 08/07 part no (pre 08/07 330i rear brake shield part has been discontinued prob due to the Perf brakes option) which is directly compatible with the rear perf brakes. i.e no hacking the shields involved to get the new rear calipers in.I figured might as well do it properly.  Each shield costs only Rm117 which is pretty reasonable.<img src="http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd297/funjin/rearbrakeshield.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></blockquote>
