July 25th:- Brake pads have about 10% left ... Called BA and they quoted RM390 for original and Textar for RM145. Big difference in price. Due to unfavourable feedbacks given by forumers in this forum in regards to Textar i decided to check out the alternatives. From what i've read Jurid has a pad that is comparable to the original and cost less than the ori pads .. It's called Jurid JAS .. bought it for RM260 :4: Decided to buy the small bushings caliper repair kit ... Which according to my mech it's a waste of money since those parts rarely needs replacing ( i felt really silly after hearing that lol) RM32 for one side Installed :4: After installation i did the brake pad bedding-in procedure It's been almost 3 weeks now and all i can say is that the Jurid JAS is pretty close to the original bmw pads. Initial bite when cold is the same, when warmed is the same only when braking aggressively does it falls a bit short compared to bmw ori pads.
