Guys, it is about time for me to change my absorber... I am thinkin to go for titan absorber?... What do you think?Or any else suggestion that i sholud try?... Guys, pls advise...

Many or almost all of the Bimmersclub dude (E36 gang) are with TITAN.. many worship the absorbers! hahaaha

I used to have H&R (Front) + Boge and Eibach (rear) + Sach result is comfort with good control!

I'm not a big fan of Titan myself but a lot of people I know are using it and they all love it.

The good thing about Titan is that the shocks itself is serviceable and it can be customized to your driving style/preference. Price wise it's pretty good value considering a proper set of fully adjustable system would set you back a good 5 to 8 grand.

If you're looking for a decent set of fully adjustable shocks maybe you can give Hotbits a try? Think a fully adjustable one from Speedworks is around RM4k++.

Titan makes good shocks to replace your standard items. pretty hardy too even with frequent driving on bad roads

BUT if you're going for coilovers, i suggest you borrow a drive from your friends before you decide.
Talk to the boss, tell him what you require in a set of coilovers. That should help you decide. Also, Talk to people who've been there and done it.

You will definitely need a couple of visits back to Titan to achieve your perfect ride and height. Search the forums, there are some valuable opinions about their product and the all-important customer service.

If you need something that you can just buy, drive and virtually hassle-free, I really suggest the safer, more recognized routes.

Loafer: a set of Hotbits coilovers go for less than 4 actually.

I also recently saw an ad on the local mags on the GAB brand. they have products for the E36

Oh last time I checked about a year ago it was in the low 4s. That was for the hi/lo soft/hard one. DT2 I think. Can't really remember though.

I agree with Tom's suggestion re: coilovers though. Not all coilovers have the same stiffness/damper rates so it's better to try some first before making a decision.

Good luck in your quest.

cheers.

Congrats!! You have taken the plunge into this never-ending search towards perfection:D

Try out various rides of your buddies with different suspension setup before deciding on one. Comfort & ride handling don't come in a package, you'd have to forsake a little bit of either. Titan is a very good investment in terms of value coz its servicable, but it would require a lot of your time to get the most suitable if not perfect setup. If you're not from the Klang Valley, I'd advice you not to go for Titan.

Good luck:)

p/s - I personally like the Sach Performance Suspension Kit, heard very good reviews & tried the superb handling. Not sure if its still for sale under Sach or Boge. Has anyone seen this item currently for sale?:)

Guys, ur information are very helpful. Thank you guys..

Mmmm.. Still, I'm feelin to go for Titan but i wanna knw its price since i'm having limited budget... Hehehehe... One more thing, im working in Lumut... And the Titan is only available in Klang Valley... Haizzz, too many restrictions....

I am on Bilstein B8 and H&R. Not regretted and been enjoying the ride improvement. Been braking later on corners too. Word of caution though, need to go slower on bad roads .

Cost: Bilstein B8 (monotube)=RM2,700.00
H&R Springs=RM1,000.00
Total: RM3,700.00 and another RM1000 plus to replace worn tie-rods, ball-joint, dampers, mounting and etc.

:) Once again, thank u for sharing views...
Anyway Bros, i've already made an appointment with Titan's bro this Friday... Apparently, the attraction is too strong... Cant avoid it... Hopefully im rite... :)

hai, yesterday i go to Titan Factory and see titan designer. The price for titan absorber is about 2k and something.. I also get advice from her son about suspension for bmw 3 series. If u like to take titan absorber, still u should used orig sping and they can stup for u until u satisfied used it:top:

mghazi. titan is a self propriertor so its manyfacturered in ffront of you and installed. They do not have any distributors.

Guys, need help....I am looking for upgrading my car suspension. Currently on stock E36 328 springs with Bilstein B4.
Now absorber leak already and looking for replacement.
Please help to recommend…

PS: I don’t need hard absorber, else wife and kids dancing around in the car after hitting pot holes..But I need good handling and yet comfortable enough.
I am looking at option to replace my springs too. Stock spring with B4, I can put 4 fingers gap at front wheel. Horrible view !!. If possible am looking to reduce to 2 fingers…not too low.
