The analogue pumps at most petrol stations are never accurate, and even the digital ones at Shell are suspect if they haven't been calibrated regularly. And checking tire pressures is not on the dealer maintenance checklist - check the service booklet. In fact, during my 10K service, I asked the SC what he thinks of the tire pressures and he didn't even know what are the recommended pressures for the E90!
