Btw, its a good idea and having a proper discussion on it is very encouragable

It's best to do it after the Anual dinner.... not too late as well as you know it is coming up to the festive seasons already. Friday to sunday sounds great.

Dan, from someone who has done quite a number of trips across the North border, it would also be helpful if you could educate forumers of the documents needed for "border crossing" ie, car ownership papers (original), photocopy of documents from finance company / owner of vehicle papers that needs to be signed and stamped by a Police officer bla bla bla Just to get people prepared to see if they do indeed "qualify" to take their cars accross. What would also be informative is to inform them (which you did briefly) about our Malaysian (not being valid after 40km i think) insurance policy accross the border.etc,
Guys, its actually not a very long journey to Hatyai and its a "fun" place...especially for shopping, food and traditional Thai massage

"Guys probably got their own activities in Hadyaai. What about the girls?"

Those 3 "fun" things to do i mentioned are uni-sexed and should keep the gals busily occupied...."shopping, good food and traditional Thai massage"!
