is it neccessary to stick to 1 technical specialist or anyone who service yr car is well-trained?from my previous experience (in handling honda cars), it is good to stick to 1 "regular" so that he will be familiar with yr car history, maintenance...and u get to know the fella a little fella...he will pay attention to yr car.its like your "family doctor"...just wondering.

Rachel, if you can, you should try to stick to one service exec/supervisor. I always do, and it pays off in their doing some things for me which are not regulation. Eg, telling me which parts I should get outside because the company charges triple for the same thing, changing parts which aren't broke because the car's warranty is about to end, etc. And I'm on handphone contact with them anytime of the day or night. I form a relationship in all the service centres I use, from Merc to Perodua.

Find a good one, don't shout at him, treat him like a professional, and you'll be pleased with the extra service you get :)

It's best stick to the same "technical specialist" if its the actual foreman that get his hand dirty with your car. Then this guy will know what he has or hasn't done to you car before, thus can give you better advice. Rightly say so "Family Doctor"

When it comes to BMW service center, a bit difficult because no direct interaction with foreman and they keep changing anyway, keeping to the same Service Adviser would be the next best option, that is if u can get an attentive service adviser la. Plenty of "chin-chai" SA around that always tell u "We have done something, u test first, if still cannot, come back again la.." kind of attitude. Even Service Adviser also keeps changing but can rely on service history in the computer la.

Getting closely in touch with Sales Adviser, you get Personalised service la. I believe BMW service center have no intention to provide ill service to any of their customers la.
