I have been experiencing some serious issues over the past 2 months.It first started with my ECU burning as a result of a leaky valve cover gasket. Oil has seeped in and fried one of my ignition coils. All was replaced and then the engine began stalling. As a result of this, the ICV, AFM & MAF sensor was rep laced in various combinations, but the problem was still not solved.Simultaneously, the car developed a power hesitation problem and that led to me replacing the fuel pump, fuel filter and etc.Further diagnostics led to a faulty knock sensor 2. This was also pulled and replaced. That more or less solved the stalling problem. However, I then started detecting a strong fuel smell from the exhaust. I replaced the O2 sensor, pulled the injectors and replaced them. That has not solved the problem. There is slight power hesitation from stop and my fuel economy is non-existent. RM 50 of fuel gives me about 100km mileage! All the seals, gaskets, etc have been pulled, checked and changed if necessary.My mechanic is saying this could be related to the ECU. I am at wits end! Have spent about 2k plus on all this and the problem is still not solved!Any input/advise would be really helpful right now.
