The power comes in gradually. I love the sound system on the Golf R, the Dynaudio system was a huge difference compared to my stock setup in my E90. The semi bucket seats are awesome, gives you more balls around corners but not for an everyday drive for people who are large in size. Definitely not comfortable for long trips. For handling I would go for the Golf R but for ride quality, definitely the F30 328i.
