Dear OM and CG Few of us has hired Adian from iginition.my to coach us how to handle our cars on 12 Jan, no profit from this event but just to share opportunity. To keep our expense low we hope to share the fee RM5250nett with 15 drivers ie RM350 each The details is as follows Losing control of a car for many is a very scary situation but for the initiated it doesn’t necessarily lead to a crash. This could be as simple as having the brakes lock-up while you’re trying to steer to avoid an obstacle, or as hardcore as a kid suddenly barrelling into the road in front of you on a bicycle (errr I’m guilty for doing that as a kid once!). ADVANCED DRIVING SKILLS SCHOOL was constructed to teach people who are unfamiliar with sudden emergency responses and recognition of losing control, as well as recovery and danger/accident avoidance. These skills are absolutely paramount when driving a car quickly, more so if you want to drive competitively. To develop these skills and experience, Ignition.my has come up with the following program:1: Theory – the basics of vehicle dynamics and car control2: Braking avoidance – From 80kmh, braking at last minute over a slippery surface and changing lane before coming to a complete stop.3: High-speed emergency lane change – also known as the “Moose avoidance” drill, teaches you to understand how hard you can throw the car around whilst still in control. 80km/h lane change.4: Skid Control – Experience a skid, and learn to control it. Easier said than done!5: Staggered-gate Slalom – This is about looking ahead and planning how to position your car for it to be most effective at taking a series of corners, and controlling it.6: Simple autocross – We’ll close off the day by putting it all into practice with a short timed autocross challenge. No Mickey Mouse donuts here, but flowing staggered slaloms and a slippery area to overcome. Best time wins a little prize JPlease find the details of this course below:Venue : Shah Alam Car Park, opposite the kart trackDate: January 12th 2012Time: 9.30am – 4.30pmCost: RM350.00Drinking Water and KFC lunch will be provided!SAFETYFor all participants we advise that helmets are required. We will bring a handful (5 units) for those that don’t have their own.Long pants are recommended, and proper Shoes compulsory. The participant is to use his/her own vehicle and the program is limited to 15 people max. There will be three trainers on hand so the student to teacher ratio will be 1 to 5 which is ideal. In any case this program was designed for the participant to spend as much time as possible driving the courses as that is the only way to learn and turn reactions to reflex.Datuk and Datin, Ladies and Gentlemen!! Not too high as not drifting or high speed on track. Guess most are on tires

Its more of awareness not the cost

 My track session cost around RM1K without fresh tyres. Add another RM1.4K for fresh FZ201,RM2K for the Hankook semi slicks and thats just for 3hours of track time. Sometime less then 10laps if no super power car spun or crash in track lor.

RM350 for whole day plus food...hey I am not complaining.:wink:

just my 2cent nia:wink:
