Half way through the programming, an error message appear - "data communication interrupted" or Data transmission disturbed, Ignition? Battery empty? Plug in connections? Switch off electrical loads is displayed. The mechanic not sure what causes it and doing try and error stuff i.e. change the battery, the gear ECU, the air con panel, stereo panel etc... The only thing that I have done before this is installing the Captor Tracking system (whole package - alarm, immobilizer and tracking). Not sure whether this cause the problem. The last option will be to dismantle the Captor.Hence, would like to ask anyone who know any reputable mechanic that have done this before to send me their mobile number - would like to get a second opinion.
