[QUOTE="armereth, post: 2331"] As the topic goes, my car couldn't start or rather stay running. Was fine until 2pm yesterday. When I was leaving my office last nite, I started it but shorly after that I heard a loud "boom" sound coming from exhaust area. Then the engine dies. It can be restarted but just die again. Try another time and this time I floored the accelerator, it revs up to 5000rpm but when released it dies again. This is what I suspect and intend to do. Please advise if there are anything else that I need to look at. 1) Check the connection to MAF - could be culprit because the wire was stretched and the insulator worn.2) Check fuel line for leakage - because I had the injector clean on Sunday.
