OMG, I have so many overwhelming response and I really enjoyed reading every piece of your advise here. Thank you so much. You guys are all very helpful and lovely, especially Uncle Wobbles for explaining what is torque and horsepower to me and I feel like a more knowledgeable driver now. :) I'm not from a rich family and I work very hard in my studies and gotten a scholarship to complete my degrees in UK. I was offered a job in Taiwan with a US company after that. It's always my dream to be able to buy my a Luxury car since young and with some savings from my salary and a 6 months bonus for completing my contract, I'm confident I can pay off at least 70% of the after taxed car with ease. I know it's not wise to invest in a car but it's more important that I can fulfil my childhood dream. My salary is quite ok in KL and I have no problem to start all over again here. I believe I'm mature enough to ensure my parents have a good living instead of them buying a car for me. They have done enough in giving me the best all their lives. Another reason is my dad had never driven a luxury car before and I guess one of the reason i am buying the car is because of him. I know it's a bit unusual in Malaysia for a young lady to buy such a car but it doesn't mean it's impossible, other than just a gift from parents. :) Having said that, may I know what sort of thing to look out when test driving? I have no problem with a right hand drive car as like you, I'm raised here. I have this fear of going test driving as is it just merely a "driving" session or is it really has to be very technical. I'm confused. By the way, I'm aware that 520d is coming out with a new model soon that I read from Paultan.org, is there any significant difference between the 2? Or is it more advisable if I wait for the 520i? Brothers and sisters, you guys have been very helpful and thank you once again for your great advises. I love you all
