The SA told me when I sent in th car that they would not be replacing the seat pan. They would sanding it down, spraying with anti-rust and painted. It's now painted black. So I will never know if it was actually sanded down or coated with anti-rust. Just have to cross  my fingers and hope it doesn't continue to rust. As seat itself, so far no squeaks/creaks and seems to be put back well. However, I may not be as meticulous so some others when checking these matters.Also, as a "bonus" the SA who handed me my car back (not my usual SA) told me that they have also applied an upgrade to the idrive/system. The SA didn't tell me what was upgraded. Unfortunately so far i have found 2 irregularities :1) the button that prevents other passengers from winding down their window doesn't work2) when i use the remote to open the tailgate, the front passenger (or all doors if so set in the idrive) unlocks. This wasn't the case before the "bonus update" - as all doors will remain unlocked.Also I'm not sure it's just me but it seems that the ASS shudder restart (which I really hated) seems to be less harsh making it almost tolerable.Oh - and all the codes previously applied by vic were wiped!! I'm sure there are many more surprises in store for me....will update if I come across any more.</blockquote>
