Ok. let me be a bit busy on this X5 post. Since I got the new ride about a few months ago, these are the things that I have done to the machine: 1. My Japan Spec radio. Converted to local FM, MP3 enable, free TV and other few stuff by Vik from bimmercoder RM600. Now I can play 6 CDs from the changer, 1 cd/mp3 from DVD drive (meant for Japan GPS) and music from my samsung using aux line/cable. 2. Installed Blaupunkt BP 2.0 FHD video recorder. RM350 3. Fitted window visors RM350 4. Change Angel eye lamp from yellow to white. RM380 but not so bright. It is OK for me. 4. Fixed water leakage from wiper washer pipe underneath the carpet by blocking the rear wiper washer hose. It was free but took sometime for my foreman to figure it out. 5. Front tires of about to go. Pirelli RFT 255/55/18. Rear tires Nexen 255/55/18 still good thread but one of them bulging in the middle. My tire shop quoted Nexen RM485, Silverstone RM480, Pirelli Scorpion RM880, Conti RM1050. Good price???? Will change at least 2 of the rear soon. 6. Bought also fire extinguisher, tire repair kit and use the old electric tire pump from my Mercedes ML for emergency. RM40 7. Register the X5 with AAM. Next things to do: 1. To change almost sq (Japanese holder) number plate to horizontal one. 2. To change alloy wheel to but not sure it will fit my X5 nicely; Alpina Styles 18 inch BMW Style 32 classic design rim Original 18 inch BMW F10 multispoke rim Any advice are wellcome!!!
