Message: <blockquote data-quote="afazlee" data-source="post: 29090" data-attributes="member: 22369"><p>I know it's like a taboo and asking to get shot discussing replica rims here but is it that dangerously bad switching to rep rims? my tyre is up for replacement soon, hence i'm also thinking of switching to a new set of rims to give the car that fresh new look. problem is, second ori staggered 46 rims is hard to come by, and a brand new ori set costs a bomb. there are not that many nice sporty looking choices of ori rims for 46 as compared to say e39 as there's no 46 4door m3 (can't shove those m3 rims into 46 sedan). i paid a visit to sunway wheel shop last weekend is some of them rep wheels are just sweet. was asking the guy there is it dangerous to use those rims and he of coz (being the salesmen) gave me that sales pitch that 70% cars on the road is on rep rims and that rep nowadays is made of quality materials (is this true?). i just need some honest feedback here, probably those with some knowledge in rims manufacturing industry. may be those who ekhem used rep rims before can attest or share their experience if it's bad (caused accident etc) or reasonably ok to use one.</p></blockquote><p></p>
