If fact I got one installed... actually for me wifey car one.. but after i put in mine.. got some nice "side effects" but not stabilizing the voltage la. U prob. need to get a Voltage Meter(any acc. or workshop, should have) to check out how much juice your alternator is producing. If it's stabil and in the green, then it should be the carbon bushing, voltage regulator(the one at the alt., not the little blue box) or the grounding for the car itself. If I were U , I take care of the grounding first then only mess around with the alternator... but hey that's my opinion.</blockquote>
