Unless you're going to powdercoat it, you can get good results using a proper spray paint.Longevity of the paint depends on your prep job. Flaking and bubbling can be almost eliminated if you spend some effort on the prepping of the wheels. I've personally done it once, and the last I checked (at the 1.5 year mark) there is no flaking or chipping of the paint, and there is no discoloration. I've other friends who've done it and had only good things to say.After all, its maximum a weekend of DIY labor and the cost is just for your paint.
