Guys,
Anyone can honestly share review on Remus Quad Exhaust on F10 528i, on:-
- performance different
- is it too loud?
- fuel consumption
- void any warantty?
- need to re-tune?
- any known problem?

appreciate an honest feedback.

tq ✌️

My F10 is still on stock exhaust but I had my E60 replaced with Eisenmann quad exhaust. In all honestly, performance and fuel consumption is more or less the same, negligible difference. There are no need to reset your ECU but if your car is heavily modded then probably a re-tune is required. There isn't any known issues except that if the installation workmanship is bad, exhaust might leak air, drone or vibration.

In my opinion, it will certainly void the warranty and your exhaust will definitely be louder than stock. How much louder? I am not sure about Remus but the Eisenmann is somewhat audible so after a while, i still prefer the stock setup (silent).

thanks.

the main difference between remus and eisenmann is, one af the pipe (right one) didn't go throught the exhaust box, and surely alot louder than stock.

but for remus, the second one still go through the exhaust box first, thats why i'm asking, is it too loud (when >160kmh)

That's a good observation. Both are active-active but not sure how loud. I'd like to know as well because I really love these quad exhaust except for the sound.

I used BMW M Performance on my 535i so I am not sure if its relevant to you or not. No issues with warranty, but thenagain I had no problems with the engine to complain about. Sound is slightly louder than stock. Simple plug and play as the exhausts even come with clamps for installation. No need to retune, no problems as the engine runs as smoothly as before. My fuel consumption increased because I step on gas more just to hear the sound :).

Was fun. Am older now and preferences change, so selling my exhaust in the classifieds.

You bought the exhaust from authorized dealer? Maybe that's why warranty is still available? Not sure if aftermarket ones will affect warranty.

Dealer never asked where I bought it from but they know it's genuine BMW product and I had only serviced my car with them. I don't know about non-BMW exhausts though. In fact that's the reason I went for the M Performance unit.
