I am the owner of a BMW 323i. I purchased this car in 2010. On the very first day of owning the car, I had found that the door locks do not respond well to both the remote keys. We raised this issue to the dealership which we bought the car from and their advice is “it is normal and we shall give it some times for the battery to be fully charged”. We went back to them again after a month of trying since the issue of locking and unlocking the doors did not improve at all and not to mention the problematic comfort access related functions (No key sign showing on the dash board while the fob is in my pocket; the unlocking and locking functions using the door handles are not working most of the time). Since then we had sent our car in and out of the dealership for more than 10 times (within a period of 22 months) for the same repair attempts and until today the issue is not resolved. I am actually planning to file a lawsuit against them at this moment. Could anyone of my fellow car owner shed some light on this? Thank you!
