Reliable Silicon Wiper for E39?

Hi sifus ...Need some advise ...Did any of you use any third party wiper rather than the ori BMW wiper? Any reliable brand that offer good and durable silicon wiper for E39?My current wiper is not performing well and it will easily drop off (the wiper blade) when i leave the wiper arm, not sure whether some clips are spoilt ..Thanks ..Regards,JS

For Dura Edge silicon wiper, their office tel no is (03) 7805-4001. They will remove your old blades and install new silicon blades.

Dura Edge is a good brand....have used it on my previous rides....

d other brand that u can consider is PIAA....if d wiper blade frame KOed....u can buy d normal bosch wipers for e39 first
use them for awhile until d blade kaput....
then consider changing to Dura Edge or PIAA silicon blades....use back d blade frame...kau tim...

I am using PIAA silicone wiper blades really good, i fixed mine at uptown KK mobile assesory shop. U need to be careful that your current wiper the clips still in good condition so that the silicone blades will hold up.

PIAA might not hv the desired length thus hv to cut to shorten.
excellent but kinda expensive.
paid around 140 for a pair, just the blades only.
but definitely worth it.
BOSCH hv fakes out there.

I got my Bosch model 539 (for E39) from a spare parts shop here in Butterworth for RM90 a pair. A cheaper option is to buy Dura-edge wipers from Tesco and rip the silicon blades out and replace it on your old wiper frames.

Brother,,,i did cal the above num,,they claim,,they already stop the service of replacing the blades at site...they can only advice the availability of the blades at stores new to us,,like for me,,will be eneous kepong JJ

pm me if you need the dura edge for your e39 , i can install for you as well , rm 70 including installation .
to use dura edge wiper make sure your car winscreen is free from any kind of wax or rainx , it will make your wiper judder when the wax near to end of life .

I'm using a Bosch blades now, used for 2 years already. Might be time to change the blade, when light rains the blade judders and make some noisy sound.

2. Wiper blade misalign , Ned to be adjusted .
3 . Wiper harden, usually does and have to change .

Group Purchase?

My wiper is experiencing the the same judder issue .. but i didnt use any rain-x .. perhaps it could be due to the miss-alignment issue? or wiper aging issue?

if you guys need help on wiper matter i can help out, not necessarily have to get the dura edge wiper . if you guys need it then you guys can set a date and time and meet up at somewhere near kota damansara giza area have a small tt somewhere bright and bring some water with you all to try out the wiper after adjusted .
