Rear Camera for F30

yup F10 crew... mirror link thru Android phone... what u see is what u get on your screen, and sound thru speakers!

Where do I get the original rear camera for F30? I asked ingress when I collected by car and the sales advisor said there's not official BMW F30 Rear camera! But it is in the owner's manual... :stupid:

I installed mine at AB glenmarie. U need to order first. Costs me ~rm4k for my F30 . Outside is cheaper but i dont want to risk my warranty

Just to share, one of our F10 Crew Members did it outside and installed a non original BMW Rear Camera. Due to some claims that he was doing, BMW dealer (don't want to name the outlet) issued a letter stating that his warranty is no more applicable until the wiring is restored to original. IF reinstall to factory, then warranty re-instated. The electronics in the BMW are a no play play section in my opinion.

He was asked to remove the rear camera and reinstall the cable which apparently the installer cut into to tap for the power. Not sure how much its gonna cost him to repair that wire.

So, if you are worried about warranty, go original. If warranty has past its expiration date, them its up to you to decide. All the best.
