Sent my side mirrors for re-spray different color. Quoted RM100 for the pair. Looking back , seems kind of expensive? Any forumners done this before at what price?

bro for my 2cents opinion its consider cheep oridi..due nowdays the cat oso suda mahal n the labour oso is not an easy job..

Ok thanks for the info. Just that I saw the back cover is such a small thing , should be couple of minutes job.

Cheaper if you DIY. Buy 1 or 2 cans (@ RM 7.50 a can) of spray paint & a roll of masking tape from any supermaket/hardware shop. DIY should be less than RM 20.00. You then save RM 80.00 enough for a full tank of petrol.

Wow, that's crazy cheap. It would cost you $200CAD (about the same as USD) to paint a pair of mirrors here.

I think it's normal. depending on the colour and also a proper paint job. Done my wing mirrors for a jap model for rm150. although it was the covers, they literally stripped it apart, sanded the exterior, primed it and painted it. the interior was just painted normally.

and that was for a matte black finish. this was way before i found Danny in USJ.

So RM100 and for a beemer, it's very competitive.

Can lead me to the rm100 shop?

I have a piece of trim to spray.

Do you know Mspeed in USJ? Its the row of shops behind Mspeed. Owner is called Danny (I think shop name is Danny also)

Its normal, but depending upon the vehicle. I mean if the car is costly then RM100 costs just nothing. As such I haven't done this thing yet, but on looking to the price I am kinda shocked. Well, I guess this would be the actual rate.

DIY can be a bit difficult, i had tried it once and was really disappointed with my work.. Still you may be a bit good than me..
