In the following order:
1. Countryman JCW
2. Evoque
3. X3
4. Q5
5. Infinity EX

The Infinity has the Japanese look and it need some time to get used to the "hunched-back" stance. Definitely Evoque for me, although the interior of the Evoque looked a wee bit spartan unlike the Infinity which looked like a space ship with the buttons and all.

For me, both are head turners. From the outside I feel Evoque has the edge but from the inside the Infifnti EX probably has the edge. Tough one but do note there is a long waiting period for the evoque something like 11 months for the 4 door. I think 2 door is 3 months if thats an option for you. The 2 door interior very sporty and sexy ( I saw a red leather one - wow) and I think that has edge over infinity

evoque stocks are now available through grey imports if you don't want to wait for a year.

I'll take both...

One for me on the Evoque

and the other

for my wife for the Infiniti...

and i get both the cars and the wife...... hahahaha

Wow, look like all bros are voted for the evoque.
Initially I was as well, but after one day saw the actual unit
, it do attract me. Btw, the evoque 12 mth waiting
period was another issue. While the Infiniti EX was ready stock.
Need for daily work drive, average abt 100km/day.
In term of comfort, driving dynamic, FC, really hard to decide.

Anyway for what its worth I was looking at the Infiniti M and found that they were prepared to give some very good deals as a new luxury marque in Malaysia. Also 3yr free service and they will pick car from your offie and drop it back to you. Their engines are quite nice and rev high. But still the looks are with the evoque :)

Infiniti EX25. The Evoque interior on closer inspection are rather disappointing. This is particularly noticeable on white interior. Tested the top specs test unit they had, car itself drives pretty good for a semi-SUV. Engine is decent but nothing spectacular for the price that it is demanding. 2 serious let down was the fact that:

(1) interior plastic was very cheap on some parts for a >RM 300k car
(2) the display car electrical system died when I was viewing it, they had to yank battery and reconnect before all electrical function came back on.

Have not tested the EX25 but viewed it, promising and the luxe factor is there with the generous usage of leather which was missing for most parts in the Evoque. On that virtue alone, for a >RM 300k car I think the EX25 deserves a closer look. Added to the fact that you only have to wait 3 months vs 12 months.

..as Land Rover /Range Rover/ lover/owner, I assure you that Evoque is nothing but Land Rover Freelander with make up..in circles of true Range Rover enthusiasts, that vehicle represent massive disappointment..however, its your money/choice, so far as i could say, Infinity all the way..
