Purpose of the smiley in a smiley head lamp?

I've been googling here and there looking for the answer to why, and what is the purpose for the smileys to be in the smiley head lamp. Is there anyone out there who know why are the smileys there?:stupid:

hahahahahahahahahhahah i hope that is the real purpose of it..

i've been standing in front of my car, turning the light on and off.. observing, what the smiley does. seriously, i got nothing, except for serious eye glares :x

yes these lights... i wonder is there any difference between the non smileys and smileys when the lights are on

I think it to avoid light reflection , the bottom part of reflector reflect a lot light towards above necessary area.
